IntelliPerform Migration Guide
This document details the steps required to migrate your existing ThreadLocker to the new IntelliPerform.
Upgrading from ThreadLocker 3.x:
To upgrade to IntelliPerform version 5.0.x from a ThreadLocker 3.x you can simply run the version 5.0.x MSI. The installation will detect the V3.x installation and perform an upgrade automatically.
IntelliPerform V5.0.x comes with a new profile format which is not compatible with version 3.x, however, the installation will upgrade your existing V3.x profile (Config.xml) to the new format (TLProfile.json)
Note: We do advise you to check your upgraded configuration as the changes made to the new profile format does not allow for the upgrading of all existing configuration options.
Upgrading from ThreadLocker 4.x:
To upgrade to IntelliPerform version 5.0.x from a ThreadLocker 4.x you can simply run the version 5.0.x MSI. The installation will detect the V4.x installation and perform an upgrade automatically.
The ThreadLocker profile settings will be added automatically and the new Memory Control option will be visible in the new profile.
